We Got It!

We went to Cleveland in search of a place to live while Marcus attends school there... Well it was alot harder than expected! We had lots of places to see and most of them were not acceptable to live in. I wasn't expecting a palace, but a clean, mold free place that didnt feel like a dungeon would be perfect! Well to make a long story short, out of about 30 places we saw only 3, yes 3 were in liveable condition! I was so depressed to find out that you had to go through a pre screening proccess to even be considered as a renter in one of these places. So we filled out forms and we received a phone call monday letting us know we were approved and picked as their renters! Yea! I was so scared I would have to live in one of the other houses! So now about our place.... It is three stories, basement ( that doesnt feel like a dungeon), the main floor that has two entrances( the garage and the front door) with a kitchen, dining area, living room, and a 1/2 bathroom, And the second floor that has 3 bedrooms and a full bathroom! I am so excited!

We also met some new friends there that had us over for dinner, showed us around, and told us about nicer places to do shopping. I am excited for our new experiance to live away from family and to grow closer together. Although I am sure we will miss them, it will be nice to have some space. Marcus is excited to progress toward his career and is ready to start school at the brand new school building! We were able to be the first students to tour the new facility! It is beautiful!

I love this!

"I REALLY LIVED"
" I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long perfectly manicured finernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with grass stains on my shoes from mowing Sister Schenks lawn. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwhiches for a sick neighbor's children. I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping weed someone's garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."

Memories at Lake Powell

Riley and Brooke Nelson invited us to go to Lake Powell with them! We had a blast! The boys all had fun throwing the frisbee at each other while trying to catch it as they jumped off the boat! It was very entertaining to watch, although marcus lost his glasses :( We had a couple nights of late night fishing, and days of hanging out in the sun and wakeboarding. Lyza liked seeing the big carp and ducks swimming so close to the dock. That was a weekend to remember!
