Indians Game

Marcus and I were able to go to the Indians game with some other students. It was the first date night Marcus and I have had ,without Lyza, since we have moved here. Some friends of ours (the Borers) offered to watch her for us. It was so nice to have a night out with my hubby! Its one of those things you don't realize you were missing until you do it. You know? Although I did feel extremely naked without little Lyza, almost as if I didn't know what to do without her! Weird huh! We had a really great time!

Thinking Pink!

Great news! We had an ultrasound and we are expecting a baby girl! We are so excited and cant wait for Lyza to have a baby sister! I was telling Marcus that if we had a boy it would be hard to convince me to have more children. (I dont love being pregnant) So needless to say he was practically jumping for joy to find out we were having a girl so we would eventually have more. I think he secretly wants to have 20 kids. I personally have a sister close in age, and I am thrilled Lyza will have that same friendship I have with my sister. I just imagine years from now... The two of them playing barbies, painting each others toe nails, sharing secrets, and becoming the best of friends. We couldn't be happier with our new baby girl on the way!

Indoor Carnival

This past weekend we went to a indoor carnival with our friends the Borers. We had so much fun! Lyza enjoyed her first ride on a little train, but the others she was pretty scared. She gripped onto us so tight, but she kept asking to go on more.

Marcus won Lyza this monkey with a game you throw footballs through diamonds. She loved it and gave it piggy-back rides for most of the night.

The lines were longer for the adult lines so we weren't able to ride all of them, but the ones we did were pretty fun! It was a really fun night out, and we were happy we were able to go.

Olive Garden & A 911 Phone Call

What do these two have in common? Well, I'll tell ya! A friend of mine is moving back home, and we were going to help her pack. Before hand, we decided to have a go away lunch for her at Olive Garden. It was a rare treat that we were out for lunch, and also a very rare sunny, reasonably warmer day out. So I was in high spirits, but that quickly changed when one of my worst nightmares came true! I was following my normal routine, opening the back door, dropping the diaper bag on the floor, throwing my keys in the front seat, and snapping Lyza into her car seat. Now this is when the routine took its turn..... I was in the process of opening my door and closing hers! I know you are already seeing what happened. Lyza's door closed but mine wouldn't open!!! I locked my baby in the car!!!!! I quickly called 911! Many wouldn't have, but this freaked me out! An officer arrived within minutes, and asked me how I was doing!!??? Of course I responded, "Not good, I am a moron! I locked my baby in the car!!" He laughed and assured me "It happens all the time. Enough to have a waver for you to sign for this exact thing." Well that made me feel a tiny bit better, but not much! I signed, and he had my door open in a creepy .2 seconds! Very relieving that Lyza was no longer stuck, but also disturbing that my car door could be opened so quickly! Thankfully the nightmare only lasted 5 to 10 minutes, and Lyza found it amusing that I kept peeking in on her. Ahhh! I am glad its over, and no this is not April Fools! I wish it was!
